Our Story
Where the Hills Meet the Cup
Kiri Kōpi was born in Ella, a small café on a hill-town road that travellers kept coming back to. Not for Instagram. For the coffee. For the sand under their feet and the mist above the trees.
When we opened in Colombo 7, we didn't try to reinvent ourselves. We brought Ella with us: the warmth, the unhurried mornings, the obsession with a properly pulled espresso. What you'll find here is Sri Lankan at its core: specialty beans sourced close to home, flavours that feel familiar, and a space that feels like it was made for you to stay a while.
“Kiri” is milk. “Kopi” is coffee. We are exactly what it says on the door.
What We Offer
Come for the Coffee.
Stay for Everything Else.
Specialty Coffee
Single origin beans from Ethiopia, Kenya, Peru, and Sri Lanka's own estates. Rotates seasonally. Ask the barista.
Local-Fusion Brunch
Sri Lankan ingredients reimagined for the modern table. Pol roti, kithul, jackfruit. Made with care, not compromise.
House-Made Gelato
Made in-house. Rotates by season. Better than you expect from a café this focused on coffee.
Kids' Play Area
Designed with families in mind, without becoming a children's restaurant. Books, toys, and space to breathe. Colombo only.
Work-Friendly
Reliable WiFi. Comfortable seating. The kind of place where a two-hour morning turns into four.
